Bananagrams
This was not my original idea, first I saw it here . I love this little game. It keeps kids occupied a good hour and improve their spelling in a game-like manner.

The Friendly Bird
We were visiting our local bird specialty store go get some food for our Kesha, the bird when Melanie saw this white beauty. She call it "the friendly bird", it talks, likes to be petted and kiss with people :)
We just managed to talk Melanie out of putting this bird on her Birthday wish list for now...may be just only to save ourselves $1,000. Yet she is determine someday to own something like this.

Photos of the Year...
I think we might have a tradition going here from now on...tradition to take a Photo of the Year with all of the extended family. This year, when we celebrated a Thanksgiving, a week earlier, with my family, we decided to take a family photos, just like we did last year on Thanksgiving with Dragon Fighter Family.
Here is our official extended family photo, I think, I am a little over-protective of the Dragon Fighter here...
The feeling that my family is always there
Makes me feel very aware
And not scared of someone or somewhere
Always cheering in the crowd and screaming and yelling, “Go”, aloud.
The feeling is great and makes me aware that my family loves me anytime, anywhere,
That’s what family means to me
That they will always be beside me.

Just us, kids and parents.
Kids, me, Natasha, Leeza, and Bro..
The men from the clan...
Our family picture..
Natasha and Lesha..
Leeza and Kris...
The girls, the light of our party...
The feeling that my family is always there
Makes me feel very aware

Girls' Power
I know that my blog posts are long overdue, its not that I have nothing happening in my life, worth of recording on pages of this little project of mine but the lack of structured time totally devoted to blogging and preserving memories somewhere disappeared with the warm days of summer. Determent to get back on track, here a little post of the friends in my girls' lives.
We decided to get together at Simon and Dina's house for a Monday night girls play date.
Our hostess, Dina, was more than generous to extend her welcome, feed our hungry souls and deal with the consequences of inviting five very energetic girls in her beautiful house.

Here is Katya, Melanie's and Alina's cousin, who is a little hostess in training. Alina was sure happy to come over and play...

Group picture-- all are waiting for Sasha to join in.

Katya showed girls her new play-house outside and the tricks that she can do. Alina was impressed but little too timid to follow the example, in fact she was afraid for Katya.
Here are other girls in attendance, who are happy to pose for a picture.

Alina Birthday Fun
For the past half of the year Alina's choice for her Birthday Party at Chuck E. Cheese. I secretly have hopped that it would change, it never did. So here we are at the noisiest place on Earth, celebrating Alina's 4th..
I snapped some random pictures of Birthday participants while we were there, here is our sister Jenny's youngest daughter-we call her Jorgi...

Alina, Melanie, Jordana and Lisa...

Masha, Art and Ruba-- busy playing some action game...

Second to last sister Irina with her ever present smile...

Masha helped us control spending by giving only two coins at the time (most of the machines require only 1 coin-25 cents). Here is Melanie begging for more...

Janina--I was never able to snap a picture of her looking at me straight, so I played paparazzi with her.

We had a pizza snack-- too bad that Alina do not care for a pizza...

After 2.5 hours being in the noisiest place on Earth, we had to drag our kids out of that place so we can go to the park and eat cake there.
We got to the park at the sunset so we had just a little time get food out, to sing Happy Birthday, eat the cake and pack to go home.
Here we are happy singing away while Dragon Fighter guards birthday candle from the wind...

My Baby Girl turned 4!
Alina is four today....let me just sit quiet for a moment so it can all sink-in...
We had surprise guests today, her little friends Lisa and Sasha come over wishing her Happy B-Day...it all end up with blowing candles on a cake, which I conveniently purchased earlier just in time for such surprises.

Happy girls and a very surprised Birthday Girl...

Alina would have few more parties as our friends and relatives will stop by at our humble little house in the days to come...as for now, I need to go a research for a fatfree-carbfree-noncalorie cake so I have something for a table in the days to come...something that I can eat guilt free :)
