Last week (of the real summer)

Last week was a beautiful, hot and summery week. Every day of the week we went to the park or lake with my sis Dina, her kids and our adopted sis Luda and her kids.

One night even Dragon Fighter came out with us, what a treat!

So this week, now that it is suppose to rain like all week, we are in doors, giving face lift to our little house on the Cooper and watching some movies and catching up on some reading ( I am reading “Money for life” financial book, it is pretty interesting, like financial novel). It got me thinking (the rain) about the fall and going back to school and home work and …I think, I lost last 6 years of my life in my brain because I finished all my schooling in ’01, well the rain does it to me…

My mom is coming back from Ukraine this week and my Dragon Fighter is having B-Day this week as well, so all BIG celebration coming up this weekend!

Hebo Lake

We had great little get away at the Hebo Lake. Dragon Fighter went there first overnight to get some fishing and have his alone time, later we all joined him there. There was much cooler than I expected but still beautiful and lots of fun and food.

Melanie had fun with her cousins and friends as they were playing in mud.

The guys did their own thing as they usually do…….Hmm…no girls allowed?

The only downside of it all was that I got sick the next day when we got home…and it was not a pretty picture when mama is sick.

But overall it is the cutest lake next (well about 20 min up onto the mountains) to Casino at the Oregon Coast. Every 2 month or so Park management (Hebo Ranger District) adds about 500 pounds of rainbow trout into the lake for the fishing enjoyment. Dragon Fighter did fish but he donated all of his fish to someone so I do not have to deal with a raw fish, what I good man!

Eventful weekend…

We had busy, but in the great sense busy, weekend. Starting Friday night, we went to Simon’s B-Day Party (my sister-in-law Dina’s husband). But for most parts it was girls social night (all that business, market goes down/up, bear/bull market staff that guys like to talk about is little depressing for us)

so we talked about girls staff on out end of the table and I like that much better while our kids socialized with each other as well.

On Saturday we went to another B-Day party in the morning. It was at Oaks Park, it was our first trip there and we had so much fun there as well! Who needs to spend all that money on Disney Land trip! For now, this park was more than enough for Melanie and Alina was so scared of all rides that she took only two little rides, so much for all day ride ticket!

And I gain girls had plenty of time to socialize between the rides (later on, when we went to yet another party, they left kids with their husbands and left shopping at the Downtown Shops, great husbands!).

Our later stop that day was at our friends’ 14 acre property. Again, more food and socializing and feeding mosquitoes at night.
