Valentine's Day in Class

I had a privilege to sneak peek in Melanie's class during her Valentine's class party in school. I had my camera with me so I could not resist snapping few pictures of that event.

Field Trip - Swimming

Our 1st Graders went swimming here! We were fortunate enough that Dragon Fighter had few hours free that morning so he unexpectedly joined us at the Aquatic Park.

He got in the water, I got my camera and took over 250 pictures of the kids. We did not take Alina with us that day, there should be one adult present in the water per 3 children and we had lots of kids on our hands.

Kids were enjoying the water just fine untill staff turned on the waves...that's where some of them panicked.

Melanie with her friend Breanne in another part of swimming pool where the water was shallow.

The water was warn enough but at the end of 60 min we were there, Melanie lips turned blue from cold and she worked out a huge appetite!

A Day in Life-Tuesday

I snapped this picture today as I was entering my living room...something about these wild flowers...simple yet sophisticated just draws my attention to them. It is an unexpected present from Dragon Fighter on Friday night...he is good like that :)

Sunriver Vacation

Every year, for Lisa's Birth Day, we are trying to get away from it all and celebrate her Birthday in Sunriver during the month of January. This year, we celebrated Kris' and Lesha's as well (my brothers-in-law). There were no snow at the time that we went there so went ice-skating and just sitting by the fire in the house...

Boys (and Melanie) had a chance to get to the hot tub in the freezing temperatures...girls were sitting close to the fire inside...

Boys had fund playing Foosball, while girls were reading latest issue of "Living" downstairs close to the fire...

Mom enjoyed some sun outdoors...while everybody could not wait to get to the cosy house with a warm fireplace..

One of the highlights in this snow less vacation was that we took an advantage of their snow rink that they had under a tent in little downtown of Sunriver..pretty good size too.

Our boys, Bro, Kris, Lesha and Dragon Fighter, having fun...

All of us had sure great fun there...

Melanie got to blush up her ice skating skills with the Dragon Fighter's help at first but by the end of 3 hours, she was skating in the middle of the rink (slowly but surly!)

Natasha and Lesha..

Liza and Kris

Dragon Fighter and I, enjoin each others company...

Alina had her own agenda for that night- and it did not included her skating...she was pretty content just watching and eating her candy...
